Using this website

The information on getfixila.com is provided for general information. We work to keep it accurate, including prices, but it may change. Starting prices are estimates; you'll always receive a quote before work begins.

Quotes and services

Before any paid work starts, we explain the work and its price and get your approval. Specific services may have their own terms, such as a written proposal, statement of work or plan agreement, which apply to that service.

Payment

• Home services: a 25% deposit when the job is booked, and the balance when the work is done.
• Fixila SB invoices are due within 15 days.
• Studio, Labs and Consulting projects: a 50% deposit to start, with the balance on delivery or by milestone as the proposal states.
• Financing for homes and small businesses is coming soon.

Cancellation

• Cancel or reschedule free with 24 hours' notice.
• Special-order parts are non-refundable once ordered.
• Project deposits are non-refundable once work starts.
• Fixila Care plans: cancel anytime. Monthly plans stop at the end of the current month. Yearly plans are fully refunded within 30 days; after that, they run to the end of the term and don't renew.

Refunds

• Repair labor carries a 60-day warranty: if a repair fails within 60 days, we redo the work at no labor charge.
• Parts carry the manufacturer's warranty.
• Care plans follow the cancellation rules above.

Warranties

Repair labor carries the warranty described on our repair page. Parts carry the manufacturer's warranty. Other services are covered as described in your quote, proposal or agreement.

Your data and devices

We recommend keeping a current backup of your data. We always ask before touching a drive. If you'd like a backup first, add the Data backup or transfer service; without it, Fixila isn't responsible for data on the device. We don't keep copies of your data after the job.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Fixila is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of this website. Our responsibility for services is described in the agreement for that service.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado.
