Privacy policy
Plain English about what we collect, why, and what we never do with it.

Who we are
Fixila Technologies LLC ("Fixila," "we") is a locally owned technology services company based in Centennial, Colorado. This policy covers getfixila.com and the information you share with us when you contact us or use our services.
What we collect
- Information you send us through forms, email, phone or text: for example your name, email, phone number, ZIP code and your message
- How you heard about us, if you choose to tell us
- Website usage data from Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity, only if you allow analytics cookies
- Information needed to provide a service you've asked for, such as device details for a repair
- Your birthday, if you choose to share it when you join Fixila Care, so we can apply the senior discount
How we use it
- To answer your questions and provide the services you request
- To send updates you signed up for, such as a launch notice or our newsletter; every email has an unsubscribe link
- To improve our website and services
- To meet legal obligations
What we never do
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with advertisers. We only share it with service providers that help us run the business (for example Microsoft for email and secure cloud storage), and only as needed to provide our services.
Cookies and analytics
Essential cookies keep the site working. Analytics cookies are used only if you accept them in the cookie notice, and you can change your choice at any time with the Cookie settings button at the bottom of every page.
We use two analytics tools. Google Analytics 4 shows us which pages people visit and how they find us. You can also opt out of Google Analytics on every website with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Microsoft Clarity shows us how people use our pages, such as where they click and scroll, so we can make them easier to use. Clarity is turned off unless you accept analytics cookies; you can turn it off again with Cookie settings, and the Microsoft Privacy Statement explains how Microsoft handles that data and your choices.
Status page email updates
If you sign up for email updates at status.getfixila.com, we store your email address and use it only to tell you about Fixila incidents and planned maintenance. We first email you a link to confirm; if you don't confirm within 7 days, we delete your address.
Every update has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing deletes your address. To prevent abuse of the sign-up form, we keep a scrambled (hashed) form of the IP address used to sign up for one day; we never store the IP address itself. The status page runs on Cloudflare, and the emails are sent through Microsoft 365.
Your data on your devices
When we work on your computer or phone, we only access what's needed for the job. We don't keep copies of your personal files after a repair, transfer or recovery is complete.
How long we keep information
We keep information only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected, or as required by law, then delete it.
Children
Our website is not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their personal information online. Registrations for kids' classes and camps are completed by a parent or guardian.
Your choices and rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or unsubscribe from emails at any time. Contact us using the details below and we'll respond promptly.
